FORA.tv Speaker - Robyn Scott
Born in 1981, Robyn's formal education began at age fourteen when she started boarding school in Zimbabwe. Moving to New Zealand for her undergraduate degree, she completed a BSc in Bioinformatics at the University of Auckland. In 2004, she was awarded a Gates Scholarship to Cambridge University, where she read an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise and studied trends in the pricing of medicines in developing countries.
Robyn remains closely involved in the field of access to medicines and is on the advisory board of the Access to Medicine Foundation, www.atmindex.org. She lives in London but works and travels regularly in southern Africa. She also works part time as a consultant on the carbon market.
