FORA.tv Speaker - John I. Todor
The early part of John Todor's career was spent doing research on how people learn and make decisions while teaching at the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Michigan. In the mid-80's Todor caught the technology bug and left academia to help companies more successfully bring innovation into the marketplace. By the mid-90's he realized that traditional business practices were not up to the challenges brought on by change and innovation.
Todor spent three years as a visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley, learning, refining and testing business strategies that would lead to sustainable growths and profits. The cornerstone of these strategies is the acknowlegement that in the face of abundance, overwhelming choice, the uncertainty of rapid change and the time pressure of an "always-on, 24/7" lifestyle, what today's customers value has changed dramatically and this impacts how they make decisions.
In his book Addicted Customers: How to Get Them Hooked on Your Company Todor lays outs out the psychological and tactical foundations for businesses to implement customer experiences that lead to customer equity - customer relationships that lead to sustainable profits and growth.
