Biography

Bob Sabiston and his company Flat Black Films have been making innovative animation since 1987. Bob's interpolated rotoscoping software has achieved international recognition as it evolved in such films as "RoadHead", "Snack and Drink", "Waking Life", "The Five Obstructions", and "A Scanner Darkly". With each project Flat Black Films strives to recast our world in a more beautiful and revealing light. In addition to making animation, Sabiston is an accomplished graphics programmer. He is the creator of Inchworm Animation, a paint/animation program for the Nintendo DSi. He also developed the innovative iOS apps Headspace and Voxel. Bob is currently working on new art software for the Nintendo 3DS.
