Ian Wallach is a lawyer and founding partner of Feldman & Wallach, a boutique criminal defense and civll litigation law firm based in Venice, California. He is a legal news commentator who has appeared on regional, national, and international television and radio shows speaking on current legal issues. He previously worked for the Office of the Public Defender. He did pro bono work defending Guantanamo Bay detainees in conjunction with the Center for Constitutional Rights. And during law school at U.C. Hastings, Ian was chosen for a clerkship in the Hague where he participated in drafting the Milosevic indictment. He also wrote “A Father’s Story: Mourning The Baby We Never Had” for O, The Oprah Magazine, and that piece is now part of his wife Cindy Chupack’s comic (and sometimes poignant) memoir about marriage and their baby quest, The Longest Date: Life as a Wife (published by Viking in January 2014, available now)
