Deirdre Maloney oversees BPMW and the Capsule Show’s strategic planning and growth.

Ms. Maloney began her career as an Assistant Buyer at Bloomingdale’s. In 2001, she became Buyer for Young Men’s Trend and Premium Denim, and made major changes in the retailer’s approach to the young men’s business. Recognized for her eye for trends and business acumen, Ms. Maloney was named Bloomingdale’s Buyer of the Year in 2003.

Ms. Maloney oversees the BPMW, Capsule, and Mark McNairy businesses. She is called on regularly as a fashion resource by publications such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal and was featured in “Influencers,” a documentary on how trends and creativity become contagious.

Ms. Maloney is on the board of the Global Syndicate and has been active in raising awareness and money for Haitian charities. She holds a B.A. from Georgetown University.
