Alice Kimm was born in Chicago but spent her high school years in Seoul, Korea. She received a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University in 1986 and a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University in 1990. In 1997, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study contemporary housing strategies in Korea. She is the current Director of Undergraduate Architecture at USC, where she is an Associate Professor of Practice. Alice was elevated to Fellowship in the American Institute of Architects in 2010.
