Biography

Etienne Mineur received his degree from the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs of Paris with a thesis about interactive media design. As an Art Director at several design agencies, he has collaborated on various projects for prestigious international institutions and companies (Louvre Museum, Orsay Museum, SNCF, Pompidou Center, BNF) and has produced more than a dozen cultural CD-ROMs, including one about Freud (Milia d'Or 1999) and a collection published by the Bibliothéque de La Pléiade. He has given courses and lectures in several institutions in France, the USA, China, and Japan. Mineur is also co-founder of Incandescence, a publishing house specialized in themes related to new technologies and experimental art. He worked for the Japanese company Issey Miyake for eight years as designer and producer of their website, which received numerous awards. He is also co-founder and Creative Director of les éditions volumiques. In addition, he is a professor at École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs of Paris and at the Geneva University of Art and Design.
