Biography

Thomas Kleine-Brockhoff currently serves as the Washington bureau chief of Die Zeit, Germany's intellectual weekly. He is an expert on transatlantic relations and foreign policy. In this capacity he has been called upon to provide expertise as a witness to the U.S. Congress. He is a briefer for visiting members of the German and European Parliaments, a speaker at universities like Johns Hopkins and Harvard, a panelist at think tanks like The Brookings Institution and The New America Foundation, a TV commentator on stations like PBS and CNBC, a contributor to American, German, Swiss and Italian Public Radio outlets as well as newspapers like The Washington Post.
