Annmarie is the Programme Executive responsible for Atlantic's portfolio of grants seeking abolition fo the Death Penalty in the United States. She has worked on several other criminal justice issues throughout her nine years at The Atlantic Philanthropies including supporting campaigns to end discriminatory policing, to reform indigent defense systems and to restore voting rights to persons convicted of felonies. In her current role she is also collaborating with U.S. colleagues in the areas of Civil Liberties and Race and Criminal Justice. The Atlantic Philanthropies is a limited life foundation and is in active wind down of its grantmaking and operations. As a result, Annmarie's work focuses increasingly on impact analysis, grantee sustainability, funding partnerships, and learning and evaluation. She holds an MFA from the New School and a BA in French from Middlebury College.
