Ranit Mishori, M.D., M.H.S. is the director of the Department of Family Medicine’s Global Health Initiatives at Georgetown University and also serves as an attending physician at the Georgetown University Providence Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. She previously served as Georgetown’s Family Medicine clerkship director for two years and has directed or co-directed other courses at the school as an associate professor and member of the Georgetown teaching faculty. Dr. Mishori reports extensively on health and medicine and has published more than 200 articles over the past decade. She often represents Georgetown University on TV, radio, print and web-based news outlets and is a contributing Health Editor for Parade Magazine and regular contributor to The Washington Post Health Section, among other publications. Dr. Mishori received her Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, Master of Health Science degree from Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health and Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine.
