Biography

Rob Roy Smith received his B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross (1997) and his J.D. cum laude from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College with a Certificate in Natural Resource and Environmental Law (2000). Mr. Smith is a senior associate with the law firm of Morisset, Schlosser, Jozwiak and McGaw. The firm represents Indian tribes and tribal businesses. Mr. Smith's practice emphasizes natural recourse and cultural resource protection, taxation, and economic development. He is cofounder and Chair of the Idaho State Bar Indian Law Section and is licensed to practice before the state and federal courts of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, the United States Tax Court, the United States Supreme Court, and various tribal courts.
