Blake W. Krueger is currently Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Wolverine World Wide Inc., an international marketer of footwear, apparel, and accessories with annual sales of approximately $2.8 billion.
Wolverine’s portfolio of owned and licensed brands includes Merrell, Sperry Top-Sider, Hush Puppies, Saucony, Wolverine, Keds, Stride Rite and more. Wolverine is the third largest footwear company in the world, behind the two largest pure athletic footwear companies.
Mr. Krueger was appointed Chief Executive Officer and President in April 2007. In December 2009, he also was appointed Chairman of the company. Previously, Mr. Krueger served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Wolverine; President of its Heritage Brands Group; and as an Executive Vice President and officer of the company for more than 20 years. His
responsibilities have spanned human resources, retail, business development, accessory licensing, acquisitions, and legal.
Mr. Krueger practiced law at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP from 1978 through 1996 in the field of corporate and business law, mergers, acquisitions, and securities. He is a former director of the Grand Rapids Bar Association Foundation.
Mr. Krueger also sits on a number of industry boards, including FFANY. He is Chairman of FDRA and Vice-Chairman of the Two Ten Footwear Foundation.
Mr. Krueger graduated from Michigan State University, Honors College, in 1975 with a B.A. in business administration. He graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 1978.
An avid fly-fisherman and active outdoor enthusiast, he resides in Ada, Michigan, with his wife and four children.
