Thomas Donilon is Partner at the international law firm of O'Melveny and Myers, where he heads the firm's Strategic Counseling Group. Mr. Donilon was previously Executive Vice President for Law and Policy at Fannie Mae and a member of the company's Office of the Chairman. Mr. Donilon served as Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs and Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Warren Christopher from 1993 to 1996. Mr. Donilon has been deeply involved in a broad range of foreign policy issues, including the Bosnia and Middle East peace negotiations and the expansion of NATO. In 1996, he was awarded the Secretary of State's Distinguished Service Award. He has served in a number of policy and political capacities over the past two decades from service in the Carter White House to heading then-Governor Clinton's general election debate effort. Mr. Donilon received a B.A. from The Catholic University of America and a J.D. from the University of Virginia. He is a member of the Aspen Strategy Group.
