Jason Ling is VP of Product Development for HipLogic. As former Head of Mobile Products and Technology for MySpace, Ling was responsible for the product vision and mobile strategy for next-gen mobile/new media applications. Ling was responsible for driving all strategic creations of MySpace mobile social network products that include an integrated SMS platform responsible for the distribution of millions of messages per month, a J2ME Application that holds an industry record for the best selling subscription application in the history of AT&T and m.myspace.com, the flagship product of the MySpace Mobile suite, a mobile web site that receives millions of unique visitors daily and averaged over 3 billion page views monthly, setting industry records.
Prior to MySpace, Ling was the International Program Manager for Infospace, a leading mobile content aggregator where he was responsible for the creation and management of Tier 1 EMEA Carrier Content Catalogues such as Virgin Mobile UK, H3, O2 and Vodafone. During his tenure at InfoSpace, Ling was instrumental in generating 17% growth in international mobile content revenues worldwide and helped build the management of three premiere external Mobile Game Development houses.
Previously, Ling was Producer of Mobile Applications for Walt Disney's Internet Group where he launched new mobile technology platforms as well as product development for the company. Ling also launched several leading products that accelerated the distribution of Walt Disney and its Affiliates' content onto the mobile platform. In addition, he was responsible for producing the first true 3D-rendered Mobile Game, Kingdom Hearts, for the BREW Platform.
Ling holds advanced degrees in Behavioral Psychology and Computer Engineering from the Technical Institute of Berlin.
