About this series

From its exotic camps, to its sand storms, drugs, and spontaneous civil society, citizens of Burning Man say that explaining the event is as difficult as describing color to the blind. Undaunted, we've decided to try and illustrate the brilliant hues of the Black Rock Desert...

Huge towering hulks of fire-breathing steel, rickety husks of recycled Redwood, and arching spires of twine and tubing conjoin to dot the desolate landscape. Clothed in elaborate costumes or nothing at all, thousands of attendees expand the boundaries of their artistic freedom in one of the most eclectic, and inspiring, festivals in America.

With this series, offers a humble glimpse into Burning Man's magical, glorious, technicolor disco.
