About this conference

Since its establishment in 2004, the Aspen Ideas Festival has become one of the premiere annual gatherings for thought-leaders from the worlds of government, business, media, science and academia.

Unique among large-scale gatherings, the Festival is equal parts cerebral and celebratory - marrying the intellectual experience of a conference with the social and artistic stimulation of an entertainment festival. Aspen fosters intelligent, thoughtful discourse through a variety of daily forums and provides underwriters with a unique opportunity to align their brands with the celebration of innovation and the power of ideas.

The 2010 program will cover tracks ranging from the Environment, Economy & Jobs, and Arts & Culture.

About The Aspen Institute

The Aspen Institute mission is twofold: to foster values-based leadership, encouraging individuals to reflect on the ideals and ideas that define a good society, and to provide a neutral and balanced venue for discussing and acting on critical issues. The Institute is based in Washington, DC, Aspen, Colorado, and on the Wye River on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and has an international network of partners.
