The opportunity to support health care providers who work with underserved, vulnerable, and stigmatized populations brought Pam to her work at HIP. She is committed to cultivating the ways in which health care delivery systems can improve over-all community health, and believes that building cross-sector collaboration can best impact that improvement. Pam has a background in healthcare facility management, having previously worked at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte in Watsonville and Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Santa Cruz. Pam received her Master of Public Health degree at San Jose State University with an emphasis in community health education.
Mr. Petrzelka brings extensive experience in healthcare management and regulatory compliance, having practiced pharmacy for over 20 years in various roles. He is passionate about helping healthcare professionals and businesses navigate the perilous waters of healthcare regulatory compliance, developing compliance strategies and providing representation to those facing regulatory enforcement or disciplinary actions.
In addition to being one of the few attorney-pharmacists in California, he is also an Adjunct Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy and the founder and general counsel of NoRxAbuse, an organization dedicated to educating public and healthcare professionals about drug abuse and related matters.
