T. Andrew Zabel, PhD, ABPP
Dr. Cynthia Smith is a board certified lifespan neuropsychologist who sees patients from the toddler age to senior geriatrics. She is the founding director of the Sandra & Malcolm Berman Brain &
Spine Institute at LifeBridge Health. She completed her doctorate at California School of Professional Psychology. Her
internship was at Palo Alto Veterans Affair Medical Campus and her two year fellowship was in the Neuropsychology Program at the Dartmouth Medical School. Over her 20 year career, she
has had the privilege of working with children and adults with hydrocephalus. She is currently serving on the Medical Advisory Board for the Hydrocephalus Association. She has presented at the International Society for Hydrocephalus and Cerebrospinal Fluid Disorders and the National Conference on Hydrocephalus.
T. Andrew Zabel
Dr. Andrew Zabel received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Drexel University of Philadelphia, PA, in 2000, and completed his internship training and a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Zabel is board-certified in clinical neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and is a licensed psychologist in Maryland. He joined the Hopkins/Kennedy Krieger Institute faculty in 2002. He is active in the mentoring programs at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, and participates in the neuropsychological training of externs, pre-doctoral interns and post-doctoral residents. Dr. Zabel is the clinical director of the Department of Neuropsychology, and is active in the development of clinical services and provision of
neuropsychological assessments at Kennedy Krieger Institute.
