For over a decade, the Cheap Chic Weddings Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest has challenged creative minds from across the nation to create a wearable, on-trend wedding dress and corresponding headpiece using only Charmin toilet paper, glue, tape and a needle and thread. The annual event shows how Charmin is not only America's softest bath tissue but it's 4x times the strength of other toilet paper brands making it a perfect material for designers to use to create their dresses and models to wear on the runway.
The top ten dresses, and their designers, are in New York City to participate in a finale fashion show event on June 16, 2016. The event is hosted on Haven Rooftop at The Sanctuary Hotel, where each design is judged by members of Cheap Chic Weddings, Charmin, Edward Meyer of Ripley's Believe It or Not, The Sanctuary's Hank Freid, and celebrity guest judge Michael Russo, event planner to the stars and member of OK! TV Entertaining Team. The first prize winner will walk away with $10,000 while the second and third prize winners will receive $5,000 and $2,500 respectively.
