Chicago Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) Commissioner and CIO, Brenna Berman joined the Emanuel administration in 2011 as Deputy Budget Director focused on enterprise initiatives and performance management. After a year in that role, Brenna transitioned to DoIT as 1st Deputy Commissioner to focus on enterprise IT consolidation and operational excellence.
Donna Harris is a four-time entrepreneur, cofounder of 1776 and frequent speaker on entrepreneurship, startup community building, and economic development. She is also an active angel investor as a cofounder of K Street Capital. Prior to 1776, Donna served as the Managing Director at the Startup America Partnership, where she focused on accelerating the formation of vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystems across the United States and connecting the communities into a national startup ecosystem.
As Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Michelle K. Lee provides leadership and oversight to one of the largest intellectual property offices in the world, with over 12,000 employees and an annual budget of over $3 billion.
Erie Meyer is a Senior Advisor to the U.S. CTO at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, where she works on the President’s Open Data Initiatives.
