Named BDS president and CEO in December 2013, Chadwick leads the $31 billion business that provides integrated solutions to meet the enduring needs of defense, government, space, intelligence and security customers in the United States and around the world.
Bobby Ghosh is Quartz's Managing Editor, based in New York City. He has strong opinions on foreign affairs, food and football... Not necessarily in that order. Ghosh was previously at TIME Magazine for 16 years, including stints in Hong Kong, London, Baghdad, New York and Washington.
Professor Khakhar did his B.Tech. from IIT Delhi in 1981 and his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1986. He joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Bombay in January 1987, and has been with the institute since then.
M Sathiyavathy is the Director General of Civil Aviation for the Government of India. Sathiyavathy, a 1982-batch IAS officer, is the first woman to head DGCA and has been appointed to the post for three years.
Prof. Ashutosh Sharma is the Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India since January 09, 2015. He was a professor (1997-), an Institute Chair Professor (2007-) and the Head (2003-05) of Chemical Engineering, and the founding Coordinator of Nanosciences Center and Advanced Imaging Center at the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur. Ashutosh received his PhD from the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB; 1988) working with Prof. Eli Ruckenstein—a recipient of the US Medal of Science, his MS from the Pennsylvania State University (1984) and B.Tech. from IIT Kanpur (1982).
