Rachel Kyte is the World Bank Group's vice president and special envoy for climate change. She oversees work on climate change adaptation, mitigation, climate finance, and disaster risk and resilience across the institutions of the World Bank Group, including IBRD, IDA, IFC and MIGA.
Jamil Smith is a Senior Editor at The New Republic, where he edits and writes features and commentary for the print magazine and its website. His writing primarily focuses on racial and gender issues, law enforcement, and sports. Jamil is also host of Intersection, a new podcast about how race, gender, and all the ways we identify come together. He joined TNR in January after more than four years of television and digital media production for msnbc’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” and “Melissa Harris-Perry.”
