Emily came to New Morning Farm in 2012 after serving a stint in the Peace Corps in Senegal. She has an MA in Environmental Policy from American University and a BA in English from Pitt. She's managed lettuce, tomatoes, brussels sprouts, spinach and cauliflower; she's managed Tuesday market, helped launch the new Wednesday market, and co-manages the Dupont Circle market on Sundays. In 2014, you can find her seeding and tending the baby plants in the greenhouse. In her "free time" she enjoys cuddling with her two cats, cooking, reading, writing, traveling and organizing other PA young farmers.
