Todd Deery has more than 18 years of marketing and communication experience both in and out of education. At FIEA, (Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy) he's responsible for all the marketing, public relations, admissions and student recruitment, helping the school attain a Top 5 ranking nationally. Todd gives 20-25 talks annually to interested students on FIEA's graduate program and trends in the tech and game industries. In the past two years, Todd has traveled and given talks at Duke University, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Greensboro, Virginia Tech, George Mason, ECU, Wake Forest, Auburn University, University of Georgia, University of Florida, Florida State University, University of Virginia and others. Prior to joining FIEA, he was coordinator of marketing at Valencia Community College for seven years and a copywriter/editor at the ad agency YP&B. For 12 years, he has been an adjunct professor of English and humanities and has taught at Stetson University, UCF and Valencia. He is also a freelance music, games and art writer and has published poetry in several national journals. He also is president of T2 Media, a web and app development company.
