Kirsten Axelsen began her career at Pfizer in 2000 in New York Headquarters and has assumed positions of increasing responsibility in public affairs and policy, as well as in management science. As a vice president in worldwide policy and in public affairs, Ms. Axelsen leads a team responsible for analyzing how changes in government policy affect Pfizer as well as healthcare providers and their patients and then developing business guidance and strategic recommendations based on that analysis. Ms. Axelsen has published studies on medication adherence and the effect of co-pay and access restrictions on utilization of prescription drugs and other healthcare services.

Matthew Cooper has worked for some of America's most prestigious magazines including Time, The New Republic, National Journal, U.S. News & World Report. He wrote for Newsweek in the 1990s and rejoined the magazine in 2014. A veteran White House correspondent, he's known for his in-depth reporting and analysis from Washington. Cooper also earned national attention during the CIA leak case where his refusal to name his sources went all the way to the Supreme Court. He has appeared on "60 Minutes," "Meet the Press" and a host of broadcast and cable shows.
As President and Chief Executive Officer of America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), Karen Ignagni is the voice of health insurance plans, representing members that provide health care, long-term care, dental and disability benefits to more than 200 million Americans. AHIP was formed in late 2003 as a result of a merger between the American Association of Health Plans (AAHP) and Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA).

Dr. Steve Miller's focus is on supporting government relations, leading the Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee, managing the Medical Affairs team and interfacing with client groups. Steve has served as Chief Medical Officer since 2006 and has been a valuable leader in all clinical matters, including our e-prescribing initiatives, our specialty offering and overall product development. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and he trained in the Pathology and Research fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and in cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco. Steve also earned his MBA at the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. Steve reports directly to Tim Wentworth.
