Mr. Alan Bernstein is a Dad of three children and a volunteer who works tirelessly with organizations such as: Family Equality, NGLTF, Victory Fund and 3rd St. Elementary. He is currently serving his second term as Vice Chair of the Board of Retirement of LACERA. Mr. Bernstein brings a combination of private and public sector experience to his role. He previously served in a variety of capacities with the City of West Hollywood, and is active in a wide range of business, civic, and charitable organizations.
Bryant is a proud single father of his son Haven who he adopted through California’s foster adoption process. Bryant has been writing and producing network television series for the past fifteen years.
Molly O’Brien has worked in the field of Assisted Reproduction since 2005. Ms. O’Brien joined VorzimerMasserman as an Associate Attorney in 2011 where she has gained extensive experience in drafting and negotiating Egg Donation Contracts, Sperm Donation Contracts and Surrogacy Contracts on behalf of her clients throughout the world. Ms. O’Brien has also assisted in over 1,000 Assisted Reproduction Agreements and finalized parental rights for over 500 families. She has also appeared before many local Judges to help both domestic and international couples finalize their parental rights, and has extensive experience in obtaining all documents necessary for her couples to return to their home country. Through her dedication to the field of assisted reproduction, Ms. O’Brien received a Court appointment as Guardian Ad Litem for unborn children to be born through surrogacy. As a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, she serves the Legal Professional Group as the co-chair of the Professional Development Committee.
Andrea Salazar, Director of Fund Development, is responsible for planning and implementing multifaceted fundraising plans to generate funds through major donor cultivation and solicitation, special events, and expansion of corporate sponsorships and giving. Before joining Walden, Salazar worked as the Development Director at Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women & Children where she lead the development department and oversaw all fundraising campaigns. Andrea holds a Bachelors degree in business with an emphasis in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne.
