Dr. Eben Alexander
Dr. Eben Alexander III has been an academic neurosurgeon for the last 25 years, including 15 years at the Brigham & Women's and the Children's Hospitals and Harvard Medical School in Boston. Over his academic career he authored or co-authored over 150 chapters and papers in peer reviewed journals, and made over 200 presentations at conferences and medical centers around the world. He thought he had a very good idea of how the brain generates consciousness, mind and spirit.
Ora and Ihab Bahla
Ora Balha was always attracted to mysticism, and the ability of the body to be used as an instrument for spiritual communion. Trained as a dancer, Ora found her way to the Sufi path and has been whirling since 2007, in addition to teaching the art to others. Along with her husband, she also operates a coexistence center, which brings together Palestinians, Israelis and Internationals, organizes conferences on nonviolence, runs an Arabic/Hebrew bilingual kindergarten in the Rudolph Steiner method, and manages an organic coop.
Ihab Balha is a Palestinian Arab who has been investigating Islam, and Sufism in particular, for many years. Trained in the Mevlevi order since 2007, he has been whirling ever since. He and his wife are involved in many community projects dedicated to reconciliation between Arabs and Jews, including Sulha Peace Project. His primary interest is to use Islam as a bridge between hearts.
Sadhviji has been serving the poor and needy of India since 1996. She was officially initiated into the order of Sanyas (vows of renunciation) in June, 2000, by her guru His Holiness Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji Maharaj, marking her pledge to a life of service, renunciation, purity and devotion. She travels across the world, in the seva of His Holiness Pujya Swamiji, giving lectures and question-answer sessions and teaching meditation. Her talks blend the knowledge and logic of the West with the insights, spirituality and wisdom of the East.
Bruce H. Lipton
Bruce H. Lipton, PhD is an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. Stem cell biologist, bestselling author of The Biology of Belief and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award, he has been a guest speaker on
hundreds of TV and radio shows, as well as keynote presenter for national and international conferences. His
deepened understanding of cell biology highlighted the mechanisms by which the mind controls bodily functions and implied the existence of an immortal spirit. He applied this science to his personal biology and discovered that his physical well-being improved and the quality and character of his daily life was greatly enhanced. Guru Singh is a celebrated third-generation yogi, master spiritual teacher, author, and musician.
Guru Singh teaches conscious living through the tools of Humanology, Kundalini yoga, meditation, and sacred sound. His teachings grew from an esoteric curiosity inspired by his family’s deep connection to the spiritual masters of India.
Paramahansa Yogananda was his first teacher. In 1969, Guru Singh met Yogi Bhajan, a spiritual leader from northern India and master of Kundalini yoga.
