Edwin Torres, Associate Director, The Rockefeller Foundation
Edwin Torres joined The Rockefeller Foundation in 2009. Mr. Torres oversees the Foundation’s commitment to New York City including their support to culture, the Jane Jacobs Medal and other projects. Torres also serves on the Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities team as well as on the Secure Livelihoods team, which builds equitable access to jobs.
Prior to joining The Rockefeller Foundation, Mr. Torres was Director of External Partnerships for Parsons the New School for Design. He has also served on the Arts and Culture team at The Ford Foundation. Mr. Torres holds a Master of Arts in Art History from Hunter College and a Master of Science in Management from The New School.
