Claudia Allwood, U.S. Director, Digital Marketing, Benefit Cosmetics
Claudia Allwood joined Benefit Cosmetics in August 2012 as Director of U.S. Digital Marketing. She specializes in rule-breaking digital and social media marketing efforts for the prestige beauty brand. While at Benefit, she has held a strategic role in driving multichannel campaigns that generate organic consumer awareness of the brand's central message: "laughter is the best cosmetic." Her expertise is in crafting nimble, creative, and innovative digital user experiences. She relishes in the discovery of digital disruption in the beauty, fashion, and retail space.
Prior to Benefit Cosmetics, Ms. Allwood was an Account Director at The Barbarian Group, a digital creative agency. She led the SKYY Vodka, Mozilla Firefox and Sears Apparel accounts during her four years with the agency. Ms. Allwood earned her B.A. in anthropology and gender studies from New York University and a graduate degree from FIDM in product development and merchandise marketing.
