Alex Bisignano serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Recombine. He has experience in providing high-end bioinformatic solutions for molecular genetic data. He is the founder of Chromosoft LLC., a bioinformatics software development company which applies principals in molecular genetics to the analysis of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) microarray data for linkage analysis. Mr. Bisignano is a seasoned computer programmer with experience developing bioinformatic applications on major web building languages. Mr. Bisignano is responsible for developing and managing the core technology platforms at Recombine.
Prior to his work in bioinformatics, Mr. Bisignano was a consultant at Credit Suisse where he was responsible for streamlining and improving the performance of large internal database systems. Alex graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University in June of 2009 with an A.B. in Molecular Biology and a certificate in Medical Spanish. Upon completion of his senior thesis on Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells and their effect on the cell therapy market, Alex was awarded membership into Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society.
