Stephanie Phair, Managing Director of TheOutnet.com, reveal how to redefine the discount model through digital media.
In 2009, Stephanie Phair was appointed
to launch and run TheOutnet.com, a division of NET-A-PORTER Limited. Ms. Phair is responsible for overall business performance and strategic direction for the brand. She also sits on the executive team of the NET-A-PORTER Group.
Ms. Phair’s career in the luxury goods industry spans brand management, marketing, and merchandising. Previously as Vice President of Merchandising at Portero, she spent three years building
the auction-based website’s product acquisition and merchandising team. Prior to that, she worked at Vogue in the editorial public relations and marketing group, and at Issey Miyake USA.
Ms. Phair has traveled extensively throughout the world and speaks four languages fluently. She served on the Parsons School of Design selection committee for Designer of the Year and has lectured to students on the connection between architecture and fashion design.
She holds a B.A. in philosophy, politics, and economics from Oxford University.
