Ronald Brownstein, a two-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of presidential campaigns, is Atlantic Media's Editorial Director for Strategic Partnerships, in charge of long-term editorial strategy. He also writes a weekly column and regularly contributes other pieces for the National Journal, contributes to Quartz, and The Atlantic, and coordinates political coverage and activities across publications produced by Atlantic Media.
Bruce J. Katz is a vice president at the Brookings Institution and founding director of the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program. He is also co-author of The Metropolitan Revolution (Brookings Press, 2013), a distillation of his work on the emerging metropolitan-led "next economy" and its practitioners around the country working to produce more and better jobs driven by innovation, exports and sustainability.
Brad Whitehead oversees the grantmaking, research and civic engagement efforts for The Fund for Our Economic Future. Mr. Whitehead joined the Foundation in 2002 as program director for Economic Development, before being named the Fund’s first president in 2006. Before joining the Foundation, he was a director at McKinsey and Company. He graduated cum laude from Harvard College with an A.B. in Economics and he was a Harvard Scholar and a Hearst Foundation Scholar. Mr. Whitehead has a master’s of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
