Jennifer Sidary, Couture Connoisseur of the Zappos Couture Brand at Zappos Merchandising Inc., discusses what digital brands should be thinking about: what's next for your brand?
Jennifer Sidary is an American-based
fashion industry expert specializing in couture fashion.
Ms. Sidary realized her fashion aspirations early on and moved to Los Angeles in 1991, where she enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She began her career at the prestigious retailer Halls in Kansas City, Missouri.
In 2007, after 12 successful years with
Halls, Ms. Sidary decided to marry her
merchandising and buying expertise with the world of online retail and made the move to Las Vegas, to join Zappos Inc. as a Couture Leader for the lifestyle vertical Zappos Couture.
Since joining the Zappos family, she
has nurtured and developed the merchandising team, while continuously adding luxury brands to the Zappos Couture portfolio across all categories and growing the business more than 300 percent. In 2008, Ms. Sidary took over daily operations and management of the Zappos Couture business and expanded the team of seasoned buyers to five times its original size. She spends her time focused on brand strategy and evolving the Zappos Couture experience.
