Diego Berdakin is President and
Co-Founder of BeachMint, a social

Previously, Mr. Berdakin was
Executive Vice President of Strategy
and Product at Slingshot Labs, News
Corporation’s web incubator dedicated
to building new Internet companies.
Mr. Berdakin is a serial entrepreneur
who specializes in building business
from the ground up. He has taken an
innovative approach to many established
business ideas, adapting them to shifting
technological paradigms. Mr. Berdakin
co-founded the Los Angeles-based Internet
incubator, MD Capital, where he helped
develop successful startups, notably
serving as President of iEscrow.com
and Chairman of Bzzing Inc.
Mr. Berdakin holds a bachelor’s of
science degree in political science from
Northwestern University with a specific
interest in campaigning on the social web.
Josh Berman is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BeachMint, a next generation e-commerce company based in Santa Monica, California. The company is focused on social and curated commerce and is backed by Accel Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Trinity Ventures, Scale Venture Partners, and Lightbank.
Mr. Berman has a long track record in building and running Internet businesses. In addition to being a founder of MySpace.com, he served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer from 2003 to 2007, and ran Slingshot Labs, an Internet incubator dedicated to building and developing new web ventures for News Corporation.
Previous to MySpace, Mr. Berman co-founded and managed successful Internet/e-commerce companies ResponseBase and Xdrive Technologies.
Prior to his startup life, Mr. Berman was a management consultant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
Mr. Berman received his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and his B.A. from UC Santa Barbara. He is on the board of U.S. Auto Parts and an
active member of YPO Los Angeles.
