John Fox Sullivan
John first joined National Journal Group as Publisher in 1975, following a five-year career at Newsweek. Over the next several decades, John served as Publisher, President, and CEO. During this period, National Journal expanded, acquiring The Hotline, The Almanac of American Politics, and Government Executive, and created CongressDaily (now National Journal Daily). Following the acquisition of The Atlantic by David Bradley, John also served for many years as President and Group Publisher of The Atlantic as well as of Atlantic Media. Since 2010, John has also served as the Mayor of Washington, VA. He attended Yale University and Columbia Business School and has been on the Board of the National Archives, Arena Stage, and the Magazine Publishers of America.
Tom Wilson is Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Allstate Insurance Company.
Wilson is chairman of the Property and Casualty CEO Roundtable and the Financial Services Roundtable. He is a board member of State Street Corporation, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, World Business Chicago, the Economic Club of Chicago and Catalyst, the leading non-profit organization working to advance women in business. Mr. Wilson is a trustee of Rush University Medical Center and the Museum of Science and Industry. He is also a member the Financial Services Forum as well as the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago and is the co-chair of the violence and community stabilization efforts being undertaken by the city and the county to reduce violent crime in Chicago. He has also served as Deputy Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
A native of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Wilson holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
