Rabbi David A. Cooper describes how we all can practice selflessness in our lives.
Rabbi David Cooper
Rabbi David A. Cooper has been called one of today's leading teachers of Jewish and Buddhist oriented meditation. He is an active student of the world's great spiritual traditions and is the author of many books and audio teachings. His audio teaching, the Mystical Kabbalah, was a best selling set published by Sounds True. Cooper's most popular book, God Is a Verb: Kabbalah and the Practice of Mystical Judaism (Riverhead/Putnam), has been highly acclaimed and sold over one hundred and twenty thousand copies. It was nominated for the National Jewish Book Award. Cooper and his wife, Shoshana, lead Jewish oriented weeklong silent meditation retreats a few times each year.
Rabbi David A. Cooper discusses the uncertainty surrounding the nature of God, arguing that there will always be further questions. "We're looking for a place of comfort. And what I'm pointing out here is that there's no place of comfort," he argues.
