Doron has extensive experience in the venture capital industry and commercialisation more generally. Over the past twenty years he has been involved in numerous venture capital organisations, and has been a founder or co-founder of six start-up companies, as well as an investor, investment manager, and/or advisor to several others. Through these activities he has built a substantial network both domestically and internationally.
Michael has portfolio responsibilities for Innovation and Advancement at The Australian National University. This includes commercialisation, technology transfer, philanthropic development and business development activities. He has ongoing interest in technology transfer, commercialisation and industrial policy and has been involved in a number of spin off start-up companies. He is currently CEO of ANU Connect Ventures, a pre-seed venture capital fund associated with the ANU.Michael has held the position of Head Department of Engineering, Deputy Dean, and Acting Dean of the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science at the Australian National University.
