James Curleigh is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Keen Inc. He oversees all aspects of the outdoor footwear brand, which includes collections for men, women and kids.
Under Mr. Curleigh's leadership, Keen was recognized by Outside magazine in 2010 as The Best Place to Work. Prior to joining
Keen, Mr. Curleigh spent several years at action sports brand Salomon where he held numerous executive-level positions overseeing both the European and North American businesses. In 2001, he was named Chief Executive Officer and President of Salomon North America, a position he held until 2007.
In his earlier career, Mr. Curleigh held various executive-level positions at Mars Inc. in London. A graduate of Stanford and Harvard University, Mr. Curleigh is also active in number professional and recreational organizations. He
sits on the board of trustees for the Waterkeeper Alliance, is President of the Canadian American Society of Oregon (CASO) and is a member coach at the Multnomah Athletic Club.
