Ibrahim Gedeon, as the Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for technology strategy, network and services architecture and network support systems for TELUS Communications Inc. In his role as CTO he is responsible for the Wireless-Wireline service and network convergence, enterprise applications and network infrastructure strategies and evolution.
Mr. Gedeon has held numerous leadership roles in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and has received several professional awards, including IEEE Canada's Outstanding Canadian Engineer Award. Ibrahim has a bachelor's in electrical engineering from the American University of Beirut and a Masters' in Electronics Engineering from Carleton University.
Alastair Hanlon has global responsibility for Business Development and Marketing and for the Telecommunications vertical within Convergys. Prior to his current appointment, Hanlon held a number of market-facing positions at Convergys, including leading Product Management for Convergys' billing product line, Industry Lead for Telecoms in EMEA and Innovation Director within the Convergys Innovation Center, working on the development of the new technologies.
Prior to Convergys, Hanlon worked for Geneva Technology and Deloitte Consulting in London. Hanlon studied Physics and was involved in several commercially sponsored research projects. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge in the area of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Lois Kraus is Executive Director of Business Billing Solutions for AT&T. She has served in this position for 7 years. Prior to this position, Ms. Kraus was Executive Director of Operations. She has held a variety of positions in marketing and operations during her 18 year career.
Prior to joining AT&T, Ms. Kraus held positions in marketing with several hi-tech companies including AM International, Gandalf Technologies and Wang Laboratories. Ms. Kraus is a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago and the Executive Program at Northwestern University.
Sasa Lekovic is the Chief Technical Officer of Telekom Srbija. The Technical Affairs Division is responsible for planning, development, operation and construction of the fixed and mobile infrastructure, as well as for the development of all telecommunications and IT services. He is a member of the Managing Board of Telekom Srbija.
Lekovic graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica in 1994 and he obtained his Master's Degree at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade in 1999. In the period 1994-2000, he worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Science of the Montenegrin University. In 2000, he started his career in telecommunications within the mobile telephony of Telecom Montenegro where, in the period 2001-2005, he held the position of CIO.
