Eliyahu HaGiloni (aka Dave Weinberg) leads a quickfire talk on ProphetWander: A Case Study in Experimental Multi-Platform Social Media Strategy.
The Future of Jewish Nonprofit Summit pulls together the best speakers, ideas and companies together for one day in order to inspire movement, facilitate change and spark creativity.
This one day summit is a polar opposite to your typical overcrowded, loud and ineffective conference. We keep it to a closed circle of in-the-know attendees and provide them with a casual, content-rich and personal environment. Our objective is to cultivate substantive and concrete dialogue between a select group of decision makers and help make things happen.
Dave Weinberg is Community Engagement Manager at OpenAmplify and Executive Director of the Jewish Institute; a serial social entrepreneur by nature.
In 2007, Weinberg and three close friends launched the Jewneric.com blog, lauded by JBlog Central as a "Top 25 Jewish Blog."
More recently, in response to the economic downturn, Weinberg used the latest social networking tools and his connections in the Jewish world to create ParnasaFest, an international grassroots networking effort whose purpose was to connect eligible employers with available employees. ParnasaFest networking events are scalable and easily replicable, and are consequently reproducing at an amazing rate. ParnasaFest was recognized as "A Jewish Lifeline In the Economic Downturn" by the New York Jewish Week.
Weinberg was recently named one of the "Top 50 Most Influential Personalities Online" by the Jewish Telegraph Agency (JTA). He lives in Silver Spring, MD with his wife and son.
