VideoGenie is an automated platform that allows companies to customer-source video testimonials. With a simple and scalable process, it allows marketers to replace traditional message-based video ads with more authentic testimonials.
VideoGenie combines three forces for the first time: the emotional and expressive power of video, the superior economics of earned media and the efficiency of digital targeting. And because it's cheap, easy and automated, founder Justin Nassiri says VideoGenie will change the way marketers establish credibility, create awareness and add customers.
Justin Nassiri started VideoGenie while a student at the Stanford Business School as a means to simplify video and enable the capture of group sentiment. As the company grew he realized that this platform could be used as a simple and scalable process to allow marketers to replace traditional message-based video ads with more authentic testimonials.
Nassiri served as an officer onboard nuclear submarines in the U.S. Navy, where he lead teams of up to 180 in command of a $2 billion, 20,000 ton warship. He has also worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, and in operations with the San Francisco startup, Algentis.
Nassiri holds an MBA from Stanford University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
