Debra England
Debra England is a San Francisco based expert on philanthropy and education. She is a strong advocate of school choice.
Currently, she is a program officer who manages the education portfolio at Koret Foundation, a multimillion-dollar San Francisco based philanthropic organization.
Debra has maintained an interest in education from when she worked as an advisor for the Fulbright Commission in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She came to philanthropic work from several years as an Organization Specialist with the management strategy consulting firm of McKinsey & Company.
Alfred S. Regnery
Alfred S. Regnery has served on the ISI board since 2002. He is the publisher of The American Spectator, a monthly journal of politics and culture. Previously he was the president and publisher of Regnery Publishing, Inc., the firm founded in 1947 by his father, Henry Regnery, who was formerly Chairman of the ISI Board.
Mr. Regnery served in the Department of Justice during the Reagan Administration, as counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee and has practiced law in Washington and in the Midwest.
He is a graduate of Beloit College and the University of Wisconsin Law School.
