Loraine Despres
Loraine Despres is the author of the bestselling novel The Scandalous Summer of Sissy LeBlanc and its tie-in title, The Southern Belle's Handbook. Raised in Amite, Louisiana, Despres is a former television writer and among her many shows is the “Who Shot J.R.†episode of Dallas. Her new novel is The Bad Behavior of Belle Cantrell. She lives in Beverly Hills with her husband, writer-producer, Carlton Eastlake.

Ronlyn Domingue was born and raised in Southern Louisiana, a place where the weather and the people are equally warm. The Mercy of Thin Air was a finalist for the 2005 Borders Original Voices Award. Her work has appeared in New England Review, Clackamus Literary Review, New Delta Review, and The Independent (UK).
River Jordan
River Jordan is a storyteller of the southern variety and the author of The Messenger of Magnolia Street. She spent over ten years as a playwright with the Loblolly Theatre Company. Her writing style has been cast most frequently in the company of Flannery O’Connor and Harper Lee.

Michael Morris is the author of the Christy Award winning novel, A Place Called Wiregrass, and Slow Way Home, named one of the best novels of 2004 by the Atlanta Journal Constitution and the St. Louis Dispatch. His novella, Live Like You Were Dying, was a finalist for the 2006 Southern Book Critic’s Award.
